Independent Miss

This tutorial was written on 06/30/2013, By Kelli.
Please don't copy it or claim it as your own or post it through any group.
You may link back to my blog.
Any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly coincidental.
It is written assuming you have a basic knowledge of psp and its tools.
It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
You will need the scrap kit Cutie Miss Independent.
Its a store collab and you can get it here.
This tut was made using the part of the collab made by PolkaDot scraps.
You can check out her blog Here.
You will need a tube of choice. I am using a tube  by Elias Chatozudis.
You need to purchase this tube to use it.
You can buy it here
You will also need a font of choice.

Ok Ready?
1. Open a new image 600 x600, transparent.
2. Open Accent #1 and paste it as a new layer. Its too big, just leave it. We are gonna fix that in a bit.
3. Paste frame #3 as a new layer. Re-size it by 75%. With your magic wand. Click inside the frame. Expand the selection by 5 pixels.
4. Add a new layer and paste a paper of choice into the selection.
Select none and drag it below the frame layer.
Add a shadow to the frame layer.
5. Now position the first element so that it is how you would like the top to be. Then grab your selection tool and draw a selection around the part of the element that is peeking out from below
the frame layer. Sharpen the element and add a shadow to the element.
  6. Open star #1 re-size it by 50%, duplicate it and re-size it by 85%. Repeat so you have 3 stars. Position them as desired. Merge the stars together.Add a drop shadow of choice.
Duplicate the cluster layer. Position one cluster in the top corner of the frame and one in the bottom. Position them as desired.
7. Add star #2 as a new layer and re-size it as desired.
Duplicate it several times and place the duplicates as you would like. I have some of mine on top
of the frame layer and some below the frame.
8. Paste the word art as a new layer and rotate it to the left by 15 degrees.
Add a drop shadow and position it.
9. Open star #3 and the button #2. Paste them as new layers and re-size them so they fit nicely on your frame layer. When they are as you would like. Add a shadow and merge these two layers together.
10. Grab your text tool and font of choice.
Type your name, forground is null and background is white, to match the word art.
Add your favorite text effects.

And now your done!
Thanks for trying my tutorial!
I hope you are happy with your results!
