I love sand




This tutorial was written on 05-31-15 By Kelli.

It is written assuming you have a basic knowledge of psp and its tools.
It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit :Walking on Sunshine, By Starduste designs.
Purchase it at Sensibility Scrapping
A tube of Choice,
You can purchase it at Pics for Design
You will also need the template by Millie
You will also need a font of choice.
 
Ok Ready?
Open the template, shift +D to duplicate and close the original.
Canvas size and resize the canvas to 650 by 650.
Activate the bottom layer, hit delete on your keyboard to delete the white layer, 
click the eye to be able to see the layer. 
Select all and paste a paper of choice. I used the background from the tube.
Paste into selection.
Select none.
Merge down layers 1,2 and 3.
Select all, float and defloat.
Expand the selection by 1.
Paste paper # 5 into selection. Select none.
Repeat with layers 4 and 5.
But this time use paper 4 and this time paste as a new layer,
invert selection and hit delete on your keyboard.
select none.
Repeat on layer 6 using paper #13.
And repeat again on layer 7 using paper # 6.
Add a drop shadow of choice to each template layer.
Delete the info and the text layers, of the template.
Activate the bottom layer, paste frame 1 as a new layer.
Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame to select it.
Expand the selection by 12.
Invert the selection and hit delete on your keyboard.
Sharpen the frame layer and add a drop shadow.
Paste the sand as a new layer,
Position it at the bottom of the tag and duplicate it.
Position them side by side.
merge down.
Add the towel and the tube.
Add the beach sign resize by 75% twice. Rotate it right by 17.
Sharpen more and add a shadow of choice.
Paste the palm tree and drag it below the palm tree.
Add the bird re-size it by 45%.
Sharpen it and position it on the sign.
Add a drop shadow of choice.
Add s few more elements from the kit.
sure to add ©, and scrapkit info.
along with your taggers info.
Now add your name, along with your favorite text effects.
I only added an inner bevel and a drop shadow.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

EMOlution

It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit : Once upon a time, By Starduste designs.
You will need a tube of choice. I'm using EMOlution 22 by Verymany
You can purchase the tube at Pics for Design 
You will also need a font of choice.

Ok Ready?
New image 600 X 600..
Paste Frame 5 as new layer and re-size it by 65%.
Add a shadow.
Paste Chrome #2 as new layer, position it as desired and then
When you are happy with it, merge it down with the frame.
Add a few more elements around the frame, re-size, sharpen and shadow each element.
Add a few of the transparent elements below the frame.
When you are happy with the elements above the frame, merge down till all are on one layer, and do the same with the layers below the frame.
With your selection tool set to freehand selection.
Draw a selection around the opening of the frame.
Add a new raster layer and drag it below your frame layer.
Paste a paper of choice into the selection.
Add your tube, ©, scrapers information and your taggers info.
Now add your name and your favorite text effects.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

Sugar Crush

It is written assuming you have a basic knowledge of psp and its tools.
It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit : Pink Sugar, By Starduste Designs.

You will need a tube of choice. I'm using Candy Girl by Chris Pastel.
You will also need a font of choice.
Ok Ready?
Open a new image 800 wide by 300 high.
Fill it with pale pink or a color of choice.
Open element #17, Paste it as a new layer and re-size it by 75% Sharpen it
and add a drop shadow of choice.
Add element #22 as a new layer and re-size it by 85%. Position it as desired. I mirrored it and put it behind the little cottage.
Open element #21 and re-size it, all layers checked to 300 pixels high.
Copy and paste it as a new layer.
Position it and add some effects if you want.
I only added a shadow.
Now paste one of the frames as a new layer, I used frame #3. Rotate it 90 degrees.
Sharpen it and add a shadow.
Paste your tube. Re-size it and sharpen it and add a shadow. Position it as desired
Add lots more elements of choice.
Re-size sharpen and shadow to each.
Be sure and add your ©.
Add the kit info and your taggers info.
Now add my word art

You can add whatever effects you would like. 
But please dont change the file name
or share.

Bring on the Spring

It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit : Bring on the spring, By Starduste designs.

You will need a tube of choice. I'm using Fanny rain by SOULDESIGNER.
You can purchase the tube at Pics for Design 
You will also need a font of choice.
Ok Ready?
New image 650 X 650,select all.
Paste one of the frames into the selection.
Select none and re-size the frame by 85%.
Paste each of the flowers as new layers. Re-size each by 50%.
Position them on the frame as desired or as I have them.
Sharpen each flower and add a shadow to each. Then merge the flowers down.
Add element #37, this is the grass, drag it below the flowers
.Paste the butterfly onto the frame layer. Sharpen and add a shadow position it as desired and make sure it is on top of the frame.
Duplicate the paper layer and activate the bottom paper layer.Re-size it by 125%
Then go to effects, texture effects and apply antique mosaic, twice.
Apply an edge effect of choice and then add a shadow if desired.
Add your tube now and re-size, sharpen and add a droop shadow of choice.
Be sure to add © 
and the scrap kit designers info also.
Add your taggers info also,
You deserve to take credit for your creativity!
Now add your name.
I used an alpha, that I had in my files.
You can use a font to type your name, or use an alpha you have.
You can find several if you goggle alphas.
There are lots of free ones.
Add any text effects you want to use.
I looked for some word art but didn't find any.
You may have some in your stash.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

Once upon a time

It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit : Once upon a time, By Starduste designs.
You will need a tube of choice. I'm using Elvira by Oliver.
You can purchase the tube at Pics for Design 
You will also need a font of choice.
You will also need a round mask of choice.
Ok Ready?
New image 650 X 650,select all.
Paste paper of choice into selection.
Select none.Load your mask, merge group.
 Add a drop shadow.
Paste frame #1 as a new layer.
Re-size as desired and position in the middle of the mask layer.
Now paste frame # 5 as a new layer.
Re-size it the same as you did for the other frame and position it over the first frame.
Merge down.
Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame.
Expand the selection by 3.
Add a new layer and  drag beneath the frame.
Paste another paper into selection.
Do not deselect yet.
Paste the sparkles from the kit as a new layer on top of the paper layer.
Invert the selection and hit delete on the keyboard.
Now you can deselect.
Paste the stars element as a new layer and drag above the mask layer.
Re-size, sharpen and add a shadow.
Paste your tube as a new layer, Re-size position and add a shadow of choice.
Now just add some more elements from this cute kit.
Be sure and add your ©.
Add your name and your favorite text effects.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

Vintage skies

  You will need the scrap kit : Elvira, By  sonia.
You will need a tube of choice. I'm using a tube by Yannomi.
You can purchase the tube at Artistic Dreams Imaging 
You will also need a font of choice.
You will also need a round mask of choice. 



Ok Ready?
New image 650 X 650,select all.
Paste paper #3 into selection.
Select none.Load your mask, merge group.Sharpen,
Edge effects-enhance. Add a drop shadow.
Paste frame #5 as a new layer.
Position at the bottom of the mask.
Grab your selections tool set to Rectangle.
Draw a selection that includes all 3 openings on your frame.
Add a new layer and drag it below your frame layer
Paste paper 1 into the selection. Duplicate and change the blend mode on the duplicate to Multiply.
Paste your tube as a new layer and position it as desired.
Sharpen and add a drop shadow.
Paste the puppy as a new layer above the frame layer.
Re-size, sharpen and add a drop shadow.
Paste #72 the crystals as a new layer.
Paste the purple ribbon (#77) as a new layer.
Re-size by 65. flip and position.
 Add element #53 (The fence) as a new layer just above the mask layer.
Re-size it by 85%.
Be sure and add your ©.
Add your name and your favorite text effects.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

Caro

It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit : Elvira, By  Sonia.
You will need a tube of choice. I'm using Caro by GraphFreaks.
You can purchase both tube at ScrapsNCompany. 
You will also need a font of choice 
I am using Bauhaus 93.


Open the close up of the tube.Shift+D to duplicate and close the original.
Re-size,all layers checked, to 600 pixels wide.
Load a round mask of choice,to the tube layer.
 I used one of these masks

Merge group.Sharpen and add a drop shadow.
Activate the background layer and load another mask of choice.
Merge group,
Cut,select all and paste into selection. to make the mask layer larger.
Duplicate and merge down.
Change the blend mode of the tube layer to darken.
Open the scrap kit,
Paste element # 56 (ribbon frame) as a new layer, on top of the tube layer.
Mirror, drop shadow.
Paste the crystals (elem #72) as a new layer, re-size by 85%.
Move to bottom and add a drop shadow.
Now add more elements of choice. 
Don't forget to add ©.
Add your name and your favorite text effects.
Save as a png.
And now your done!

Talk Nerdy to me...

You will need a tube of choice. I am using  8-bit love  by Redfill.
You need to purchase this tube to use it.
You can buy it at: Pics for Design
And my word art or your own
Just right click and save
You will also need a font of choice.
  I used talking to the moon 


Ok Ready?
 New image 650 X 650.
Paste element 86 (mirror) as a new layer,
Add a drop shadow.
Paste the phone (Element # 88) as a new layer.
Position it and add a drop shadow.
Paste the clock (# 108) as a new layer,
Resize it by 65% twice. Sharpen it and add a drop shadow of choice.
Paste the backpack (# 30) as a new layer, resize it by 65% twice.
Sharpen more and add a drop shadow.
Add element #3 the glasses as a new layer. Resize it by 45%.
 position it and add a drop shadow.
Add the flowers element #12, as a new layer and drag it above the background layer.
Position it and add a drop shadow.
Paste the stars element # 76. Paste it above the mirror layer, position it nd add a drop shadow.
Paste the tube as a new layer above the mirror layer,
Add a drop shadow.
Activate the background layer, select all and flood fill it with white.
Use your selection tool set to rectangle and cut out the middle of it out. 
Make it as wide or narrow a frame as you like.
Then hit delete on your keyboard and select none.
Paste a paper as a new layer and drag it below the frame layer.
Add any effects you would like.
Add my word art or your own.
And your name.
add your favorite text effects now.
Don't forget to add ©
And your taggers info.
And its always nice to credit the scrap kit designer.
 Merge visible.
 Select all, float and de-float then crop to selection.
Save it as a png
And now your done!

Beauty in Love

It is written using psp X5 but should work in any other version.
  You will need the scrap kit Beauty in Love, By Scrap in Designs by Peace,
You can get it on her blog.
It is part of a collab.
You will find links to the other parts of the collb there also.
This is free to use. 

You will need a tube of choice. I am using a tube  by Trinita.
You need to purchase this tube to use it.
You can buy it at: Pics for design
You will also need a font of choice.
  I used Stink on the Death 


Ok Ready?
 Open frame Number 5,Shift D to duplicate, Close the original.
Re-size, All layers checked,
to 600 pixels wide
Open BIL77, Copy an paste as a new layer.
Duplicate it, on the bottom layer go to image and mirror.
Duplicate that layer again and use your pick tool on the bottom layer to rotate it slightly.
add a drop shadow =1,-1,60,10.00,Black.
Merge these 3 layers and position as desired on the frame.
Open BIL44 re-size it  X 90%
Copy and paste it as a new layer, position and add the same shadow as before.
Repeat with elements number 76,60 and 61.
Position each as desired.
Activate the frame layer. 
Grab your magic wand and click inside the frame.
Add a new layer and go effects and cut out with these settings:
-2,2,74,7,color of choice.
Drag it below the frame layer,
now add another new layer and repeat the cut out only this time change settings to 2,-2,74,7.
Drag this layer below the other cut out layer.
Expand the selection by 2.
Paste paper number 6 as a new layer ad position it in the selection as desirred.
Invert the selection and hit delete on your keyboard.
now you can deselect.
Drag the paper layer below the cut out layers.
Add your tube.
Now add the appropriate © and 
other info you would like.
Add your name and the text effects you like.
I only added the same drop shadow from before.
 Merge visible, select all, float and de-float then crop to selection.
Save it as a png
And now your done!
